The blog is called Patterson's Pack and its a 1st grade classroom. In the blog they talk about the class and school safety. It also talks about what the kids do in class and gives first names of the students in the blog. For example it talks about how Brooke brought a caterpillar to class and they looked at with a microscope and took pictures of it. It also shows pictures of the children when they are on a field trip and there is also a video of bus safety for that field trip.
I think this website would help me as a teacher because its not just one teacher's blog, you can go to different class blogs and see what they are doing. This website could help for getting ideas for lessons and I could also make a blog for the class and we could collaborate with this class. The blog would also be nice because the parents could be involved the class with out really being to involved. The blog helps keep the parents in the know of what is going on in the classroom.
I really like the blog you posted. I think talking about what they do in class is a great way for parents to stay in touch with what is going on in the classroom. I think it is great to keep a class blog especially for the younger grades because sometimes they don't always tell their parents about everything that is going on.
